About Lila

Originally from Westchester County, Lila was convinced by a friend to audition for a local youth theatres production of Annie for the role of Molly. Though she didn’t get cast, the head of the youth theatre saw potential in her and asked that she participate in their next production that year – Hansel and Gretel – Since then Lila has been pursing acting.

She made her professional acting début in the American Girl Review alternating between the roles of Hallie and Laura. A year later, Lila had the honor of making her Broadway début as Jane Banks in Mary Poppins.

Lila had the honor to preform in the Actors Equity Fights Aids Benefit concert of Pamela’s First Musical in the title role of Pamela along side the brilliant Donna Murphy and Directed by Graciela Daniele at Town Hall in NYC. The show featured a Score by David Zippel & Cy Coleman and a book by Wendy Wasserstein. The show was sold out and received rave reviews. She then reprised the role of Pamela in the National Alliance of Musical Theatre festival that same year under the direction of David Zippel.

After participating in many readings and workshops throughout her high school years, Lila attended Syracuse University. There she played Young Violet in SU Dramas production of Violet and Penny Lou Pingleton in Syracuse Stages production of Hairspray. She graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre.

After graduating Lila made her professional television début in ABC’s What Would You Do? She can been seen in six episodes in a variety of parts as one of their undercover actors.

In August of 2018 it was announced the Lila would be playing the role of Anya in Stephen Flahrety, Lynn Aherns, and Terrence McNally’s 1st National Tour of their musical Anastasia under the direction of Darko Tresnjak. She debuted the production in several venues across the united states including The Kennedy Center and Pantages. Her last performance was in March of 2020.

After touring Lila has preformed in several regional productions. She was most recently seen as Olive Ostrovsky in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at George Street Playhouse, Directed by Colin Hanlon.
